The best place to sell CGM sensors is a buyer that gives you an offer before you ship, pays for the shipping, tells you exactly when you'll be paid, and is clear about which boxes it can and can't buy. Use the checklist below to judge any buyer. Under each point is how Day2Day Strips handles it.
| Sensor | Top offers | Where to sell |
|---|---|---|
| Dexcom G7 (15-day and 10-day) | 8+ months left | Sell Dexcom G7 |
| Dexcom G6 sensors and transmitters | 10+ months left | Sell Dexcom G6 |
| FreeStyle Libre 2, 2 Plus, 3 and 3 Plus | 5+ months left | Sell FreeStyle Libre |
| Medtronic Guardian 4 | 10+ months left | Sell Medtronic CGM sensors |
We also buy Dexcom receivers and FreeStyle Libre readers that are still sealed in the box. Shorter date than the table shows? Just ask — we still buy short-dated boxes of some brands.
You should know the number before anything leaves your hands. We reply with an offer by text, usually within minutes, and there's no obligation to accept it.
Selling shouldn't cost you postage. Accept our offer and we email a free prepaid, tracked label, with nothing to pay at the counter.
Ask when and how you'll be paid before you agree. At a Sacramento meetup you're paid on the spot (cash, Zelle or Venmo). By mail, you're paid within one business day of arrival; most boxes are paid the same day they land.
Opened or damaged outer box? If each sensor is still sealed in its own package, it's case by case: we'll make you an offer or tell you honestly if we have to pass. A sensor whose own package has been opened can't be bought.
We don't buy Medicare, Medicaid or other government-issued supplies. Items marked “Not For Resale” aren't accepted either.
Your offer is locked before you ship. If it's as you described, we don't re-grade on arrival — the number we emailed is the number you get. If something doesn't match, we contact you first, and the offer never changes without your say-so. If we can't buy at the offer we sent, it ships back to you free.
You're texting the person who makes the offer and sends the payment. There's no ticket queue, no chat bot and no account to create.
Along with the product and how many boxes you have, the time left before expiration shapes every offer. Top offers go to Dexcom G7 boxes with 8+ months left, Dexcom G6 and Medtronic Guardian 4 boxes with 10+ months, and FreeStyle Libre sensors with 5+ months. The date is usually printed next to an hourglass symbol on the box.
If you're in the Sacramento area, a meetup gets you paid on the spot with nothing to pack. Anywhere else in the US, mail-in uses our free prepaid label. The brands we buy and our expiration standards are the same either way; the real difference is when and how you're paid. Here’s how free mail-in works, step by step.
